For decades, tetraplegic patients have been incapable of intermittent self-catheterization without help from a caregiver, so MTG set a goal of developing a closed system catheter for individuals with limited finger dexterity. 

The MTG EZ-Gripper® is a sterile, single-use closed system catheter that has been fitted with access finger holes for easier opening and handling and a patented gripping handle affixed to the outside of the collection bag. The patented gripper handle applies pressure to the tube from both sides of the bag, so the user can easily advance the catheter, even with limited dexterity. The MTG EZ-Gripper® is 100% latex-free with a DEHP-free catheter tube.
